Hei hei Rovers! This is Roverposten, the official newspaper for Roverway 2024. We are with you during Paths, Main Camp, and even after Roverway – to feed into the post-camp melancholy.
Throughout Roverway, you can count on us to provide you with fun articles on different activities taking place and interesting individuals that are far beyond Ordinary. Our goal is to serve as a collection of your own favourite Roverway moments, but also to give you insights into what other participants did. We want to make sure you make the most of the Roverway and get the total experience!
If you have fun stories or thoughts to share, we would love to hear from you and include them into Roverposten. Follow this link to share your input. Let’s be NORTH of the Ordinary together!
Undeniably, there is no better way to connect with another culture and to learn about it than through its food and traditional meals. Food is a way to understand a country’s culture.
Welcome to the NORTH of the Ordinary country of Norway, where fjords, trolls and epic adventures await!
If you are new to international Guiding and Scouting, you might not be familiar with what WAGGGS and WOSM are – and even if you are, it might be nice to refresh your memory, as you will come across the two a lot during Roverway.
The start of Roverway is less than 50 days away! You and your contingents are most likely busy planning your travels to camp. Whilst most of you will travel by train or plane, there are different, more adventurous ways of travelling to an international Guide and Scout camp.
With Roverway coming closer and closer, you may have seen some images shared on our Social Media of a very specific gathering… Well, indeed! On the 16-18 February weekend, there was a Head of Contingent and Rover Representatives meeting on the Stavanger campsite.
Hei hei Rovers! Welcome to Roverposten, the official newspaper for Roverway 2024. We will be with you on the way to Roverway, and of course during the 10 days of camp!
