Having good meals is one of the most important aspects. The food depot is where the participants are getting their meals. Here is an inside view of the work done there.
If you passed the Contingent tents on July 29, you would have seen that there was a lot going on. On International Day, every country represented their culture and Guiding and Scouting movement by presenting it at the Plaza. There, all the Guides and Scouts were able to collect stamps on little paper passports, by taking part in the prepared activities.
Today is International Day at Roverway! The day will be filled with lots of international activities where the Participants can learn about new cultures and meet new people from all over the world. It’s a great way to be immersed in other Guide and Scout cultures from across the world. The day will be full of culture, learning and fun! We have highlighted some of the countries that are participating.
Yesterday evening, Participants, International Service Team and Planning Team members as well as other hosts gathered in front of the main stage here in Lundsneset, Norway. After years and months of preparations, Roverway 2024 finally started! Well, the second half – the Paths are over, it’s time to meet everyone on site!
With every new day there are more programme activities to be discovered. On the night of 25 July, the Roverway campground was blessed with yet another space for fun activities – The Rainbow Cafe!
On the campsite, things have changed rapidly, as only four days ago there was nothing but grass. Now there are big tents, they are finalising the last plumbing to the toilets and showers at the top of the field and tractors are delivering equipment to a waiting team.
