Join us for Roverway 2024
Embark on an unforgettable adventure “NORTH of the Ordinary” with Guides and Scouts from all over Europe and beyond, from 22 July to 2 August 2024. Surrounded by Norway’s majestic mountains, beautiful fjords, and large valleys, you will experience Scouting and Guiding in a way you may never have before!
Roverway 2024 is more than ‘just’ a camp – you will make friendships and gain skills that will be with you for life! Discover Roverway’s five educational objectives, to understand what this is all about!
Guiding and Scouting Culture
Roverway will help you to learn about Norwegian Guiding and Scouting, but also the traditions from other countries. You will also have the chance to teach your new friends about your own country’s Guiding and Scouting Culture! Roverway is about learning together and learning from one another, and about intercultural exchange! Are you ready to broaden your horizons?
Come Together
Rovers from Europe and beyond will come together. Together, we will challenge all forms of discrimination and exclusion. Roverway 2024 welcomes everyone and will take the necessary steps to make everyone feel welcome and able to participate in activities. Are you prepared to contribute to an inclusive and tolerant Roverway?
Leadership
Roverway 2024 will be a space of empowerment and developing your skills and confidence. You will be given the space to stand up for topics that are close to your heart and engage in dialogue with your peers, and thereby develop as a person and future leader. What topics will you stand up for?
Sustainability
We are working towards making Roverway 2024 a sustainable international event – both in the way it is executed, as well as in its contents! You will learn about the Sustainable Development Goals and have the space to discuss questions like how to reduce the carbon emissions in daily life, at Roverway 2024 and at other camps. Can you help us make Roverway 2024 more sustainable?
Physical and Mental Strength
Norway’s nature has a calming effect on the body and mind. The rough, natural environment that you will encounter on your path, might be a new challenge to you, which will help you grow as a Guide or Scout and as a human. We also want to use this occasion to discuss topics of mental health and normalise conversations about it within our communities. Are you up for the challenge?

Our Story
“Roverway is empowerment, friends, new experiences and self-development – together we will grow to become leaders of tomorrow, one choice at a time!”
Roverway 2024 takes place in Norway. The Roverway experience is divided into two parts: From 22 July 2024, the participants will gather in smaller groups and get the opportunity to explore paths, which are mini-camps located all across Southern Norway. After a couple of days, everyone gathers in Stavanger for a big main camp. The closing ceremony on 1 August 2024, one day before departure, will mark the end of the 11 days of Norwegian adventure.
Let’s go NORTH of the Ordinary!
